Your price, in full, before you book.

The price depends on how many GPs are free when you ask. Whatever it is, you see all of it before you commit, and it never changes after.

How paying works.

See your price.

The whole price, before you commit. No booking fee, and nothing added later.

Confirm, and it’s held.

The amount is held on your card, not taken.

Taken when a GP accepts.

Only once a GP has accepted your consultation.

No GP? Released in full.

If no GP is available, or you cancel before one accepts, the hold is released and nothing is charged.

What you’re quoted is what you pay. It never changes after you book.

What your price covers, and doesn’t.

It covers

  • A GMC-registered GP assessing new or worsening symptoms.
  • A prescription sent to a pharmacy you choose, if the GP judges you need one. You pay the pharmacy for the medicine itself.
  • A fit note, if the GP judges you’re not fit to work.
  • A referral letter for private specialist care.
  • A straight answer on whether you need to be seen in person.

It doesn’t

  • Emergencies — call 999 or go to A&E.
  • Anything needing a physical examination, a test or a scan.
  • Controlled drugs such as strong opioids and sedatives. Schedule 2 and 3 medicines are never prescribed on Dr Quick.
  • Ongoing medication that needs monitoring, without access to your records.
  • Replacing your NHS GP. Dr Quick works alongside them, with your consent.

No surprises.

The pharmacy charges separately.

Your price covers the GP writing any prescription you need. You pay the pharmacy for the medicine itself, as with any private prescription.

No membership.

No subscription and no sign-up fee. You pay per consultation, only when you need one.

Nobody pays to jump ahead.

Paying never moves you ahead of someone more urgent. Price and clinical need are kept apart.

For GPs.

Paid more when demand is high.

Paid per consultation you take, not per hour online, and what a consultation pays is shown in full before you accept it. How a shift works
